Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Meddilink (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on meddilink.com, and the choices available to you. It is designed to support the principles of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy rules. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include pixels, local storage and SDKs that read or write data on your device. We use them for essential site functionality, analytics, and marketing/CRM attribution.
2. Is this a patient (health) website?
No. meddilink.com is a business-to-business marketing website for fertility-clinic software. It is not a patient portal and does not knowingly collect patient health information (PHI). Forms collect business contact details (e.g. work email, clinic name) — not patient records. Our product platforms that handle clinical data are separate systems with their own controls and are out of scope for this website policy.
3. Your consent & how cookies are gated
On your first visit, a consent banner appears. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them; all other categories are off until you opt in. We do not use pre-ticked boxes. Google Consent Mode is set to “denied” by default, so analytics and marketing tags do not store or transmit identifiers until you consent.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving consent — via the control (the CookieYes preference centre).
4. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary (always on, no consent required): Cloudflare (security & content delivery), CookieYes (stores your consent choices).
- Analytics (consent required): Google Tag Manager + Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity — aggregate usage and heatmaps to improve the site.
- Marketing / CRM (consent required): HubSpot tracking
+ forms (e.g.
hubspotutk) — attribute enquiries and link form submissions to existing CRM contacts. - Functional / anti-spam (consent or legitimate security interest): Google reCAPTCHA on forms; YouTube in no-cookie mode where video is embedded.
5. Cookie inventory
The itemised list of cookies — providers, categories, purposes and retention durations — is summarised below. Durations marked [per audit] must be confirmed against the cookies actually set in production before publication.
| Provider | Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Security, bot mitigation, CDN delivery | [per audit] |
| CookieYes | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie-consent preferences | [per audit] |
| Google Analytics 4 / Tag Manager | Analytics | Aggregate, privacy-respecting usage measurement | [per audit] |
| Microsoft Clarity | Analytics | Heatmaps & session-quality insights | [per audit] |
| HubSpot | Marketing / CRM | Enquiry attribution; links forms to CRM contacts | [per audit] |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Functional / anti-spam | Distinguishes humans from bots on forms | [per audit] |
6. International data transfers
Some providers above may process data outside your country (e.g. in the United States). Where that occurs, transfers are intended to rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. [CLIENT/COUNSEL TO SUPPLY — confirm transfer mechanisms per processor.]
7. Your rights under GDPR
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Managing cookies in your browser
Besides the control, most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site. Analytics and marketing scripts remain gated by your consent choice regardless of browser settings.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and the cookie inventory as our site or providers change. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be surfaced through the consent banner where required.
