From Spec to Go-Live in Three Steps

01

Discovery & Mapping

Our integration engineers map every device, every data source, every report you need. Inventory in, gap analysis out — within the first week of engagement.

02

Configuration & Validation

We configure connectors, test data flow end-to-end, and validate every field with your lab team. Parallel-run against your existing system before cutover.

Integration Questions Procurement Teams Ask

Does MedART integrate with our existing EMR or lab system?

Most likely yes. MedART speaks HL7 v2.x, HL7 FHIR R4, DICOM, OAuth 2.0, and REST API + Webhooks out of the box — the same standards your existing EMR, LIMS, hospital EHR, or lab software almost certainly uses. For non-standard or legacy systems, Meddilink's integration engineering team scopes a custom bridge. Many clinics run MedART alongside their existing hospital EHR by exchanging structured data via HL7/FHIR rather than ripping and replacing — see Clinical EMR and Laboratory for module-level integration details.

Which lab analysers, time-lapse incubators, and witnessing systems does MedART support?

MedART integrates with the equipment IVF labs actually use: hormone analysers (Abbott ARCHITECT, Roche cobas, Siemens ADVIA / Atellica, Beckman Coulter, Mindray); time-lapse incubators (Vitrolife EmbryoScope+, Geri, Esco Miri TL, Primo Vision); electronic witnessing systems (RI Witness, Matcher, Gidget Octopus); genetic testing labs (Igenomix, Illumina, Thermo Fisher, CooperSurgical); and ultrasound systems via DICOM (GE Voluson, Philips, Samsung). The full registry is on this page; if a specific model isn't listed, our team will scope it.

Does MedART support HL7 FHIR, DICOM, and other healthcare interoperability standards?

Yes. MedART supports HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORM, ORU message types — lab orders, results, admissions), HL7 FHIR R4 (modern healthcare interoperability for hospital EHR exchange and registry exports), DICOM (ultrasound and medical imaging import with DICOM SR support), OAuth 2.0 (token-based authentication for API access), open REST API + Webhooks (developer access for custom workflows and bidirectional event subscriptions), and custom bridges for legacy / in-house systems. This is in-built — not a separately-licensed connector tier.

Can MedART export to SART, ESHRE, NABIDH, MALAFFI, KARM, PSRM, and other registries?

Yes. MedART export formats are designed to support DHA NABIDH (Dubai), DOH MALAFFI (Abu Dhabi), MOH UAE federal, SART (USA), ESHRE / Alpha Vienna 2017 KPI (Europe), KARM (Kazakhstan ART Registry), PSRM / DOH (Philippines), ICMR / NAR (India ART Act), and ANZARD (Australia / New Zealand — on request). Custom registry exports are available for any other jurisdiction. Because clinical and embryology data is captured in structured fields at the point of care, registry submission becomes a one-click export — not a multi-week manual reformat.

Does MedART have an open API and webhooks for custom integrations?

Yes. MedART ships an open REST API with OAuth 2.0 authentication and webhook event subscriptions, so IT teams can build custom integrations against patient, cycle, embryology, billing, and operational events. This is the same API surface our own integration connectors use internally — no separate developer tier, no paywalled API access. Documentation is available to integration partners and CTOs on request; talk to Meddilink's integration engineering team to start a custom build.

How long does a new integration take to scope and deploy?

It depends on the specific system, the standard it speaks, and the data volumes involved. Standard HL7 / FHIR / DICOM integrations against pre-built connectors typically deploy as part of the broader implementation engagement. Custom bridges for legacy or in-house systems are scoped case-by-case: Meddilink's integration engineers map the source system, configure connectors, validate data flow end-to-end with your lab team in parallel-run, then go live with 30 days of post-launch monitoring. Talk to our integration team about your specific system to get a realistic timeline.
